Please join cfaac on Wednesday May 19 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am please at Maryland Hall for the presentation of our 2010 county-wide needs assessment, Poverty Amidst Plenty: The Two Faces of Anne Arundel County. Commissioned in conjunction with the Partnership for Children Youth & Families, the assessment is authored by Dr. Lester M. Salamon, Director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Civil Society Studies, and a board member of the Community Foundation. Breakout sessions will take place after the presentation to discuss the data and possible community actions. A light breakfast will be served between 8:00 am to 8:30 am. A nice little dig in the side yard this morning. I will add more later.
This is a 19th century brick drain uncovered. The bricks will be removed and maybe more historical goodies underneath.
