I suppose to bring in business. I have no clue. It does have some benefit for the American Heart Association but I think it is a city event and they threw in the cause.

We’re even looking to host a few live marriage proposals. Many businesses will provide door prizes, raffles and a silent auction will take place throughout Annapolis to help benefit the American Heart Association."
Was the street name change a temporary thing? I hope so.
Sounds like a cheesy initiative. How did it go? Maybe they should have a sequel event in about 9 months for all the babies conceived out of love in Romance-apolis.
BTW, what does movie marathon have to do with love?
not sure about the movie marathon either. I guess my take on the whole thing was that to me the idea of romance and crowds are just impossible to bring together. Really rarely are crowds pleasant in any situation.

I honestly have no idea how it went. It seemed like a normal crowded weekend to me. Just the temporary sign change.
